Security & Data Processing

This page explains how Tool Radar 360 approaches browser-based processing, file handling, technical data, third-party services and platform security. Processing can vary by tool, so we avoid making blanket promises that do not apply to every utility.

Processing Methods

Where your information may be processed

Tool Radar 360 contains different types of utilities. A simple calculator does not necessarily process data in the same way as a file converter, contact form, analytics service or advertising component.

Local where supported

Browser-side processing

Where a utility is designed for local processing, calculations or transformations can occur directly inside your browser rather than requiring the relevant input to be sent to a remote processing service.

Browser-side processing can reduce the amount of information that needs to leave your device, but it does not mean that every Tool Radar 360 feature operates locally.

When required

Server or third-party processing

Some features may require information to be transmitted to hosting infrastructure, service providers or other processing systems to complete a requested function.

Where processing materially differs from normal browser-side behavior, additional tool-specific information may be provided where appropriate.

Our Approach

Principles behind data processing

Minimize unnecessary data

A tool should not require more information than is reasonably needed for its intended function.

Purpose-aware processing

Information collected for a feature should be connected to providing, maintaining, securing or improving that feature.

Clear communication

We aim to explain material processing practices without describing every tool as though it uses the same technical architecture.

File Processing

Documents, images and uploaded files

Tool Radar 360 may offer utilities that work with documents, images or other user-selected files. Processing behavior depends on the particular tool.

Browser-based file tools

Where a tool supports local file processing, the selected file can be handled inside the browser for that operation. This can avoid transmitting the actual file to a separate processing server for the core transformation.

Tools requiring remote processing

If a future or existing feature requires remote processing, the file or relevant data may need to be transmitted to the infrastructure or service provider responsible for completing that operation.

Important files

Keep an original backup before processing an important document. File conversions and transformations can sometimes affect formatting, metadata, embedded content or other file properties.

Sensitive files require extra care

Avoid submitting highly sensitive, confidential, regulated or irreplaceable information to an online tool unless you understand the processing method and are comfortable with the associated risk.

Processing Reference

Types of information that may be involved

The table describes common processing scenarios. It does not mean every category is collected by every Tool Radar 360 page or tool.

Feature Possible Information Processing Purpose
Calculators Values entered into calculation fields Often browser-side where designed that way Generate the requested calculation
File Tools Selected documents, images or file metadata Browser-side or remote depending on the tool Convert, compress, inspect or transform a file
Contact / Requests Name, email and message information you provide Website infrastructure or form/email provider Respond to messages or review requests
Technical Logs Network, browser, device, page or error information Hosting, security or infrastructure systems Security, troubleshooting and reliable operation
Analytics Usage and interaction information Analytics provider when enabled Understand traffic and improve the website
Advertising Advertising or measurement identifiers Advertising partners when enabled Ad delivery, measurement or related functions
Technical Information

Logs, diagnostics and security information

Hosting, security and website infrastructure can generate technical records as part of normal site operation. Depending on the services in use, these records may contain information such as an IP address, browser or device information, timestamps, requested pages, error information or security events.

Technical information may be used to maintain service reliability, investigate errors, protect against abuse, understand abnormal activity or support legitimate operational requirements.

Analytics and advertising technologies are addressed separately in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy where applicable.

Service Providers

Third-party infrastructure and services

Tool Radar 360 may rely on third parties for functions such as website hosting, content delivery, security, analytics, advertising, forms, email or other platform infrastructure.

When information is processed through a third-party service, that provider may process data according to its role, technical configuration, contractual terms and applicable privacy documentation.

The services used by Tool Radar 360 may change over time as the platform develops. Material privacy-related changes may be reflected in our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy or relevant tool notices.

Security Approach

Practical safeguards instead of absolute guarantees

Security controls can vary between platform components and service providers. Our approach is to use safeguards appropriate to the function, information involved and practical security risks.

HTTPS connections for the public website and supported web requests.
Input and file validation where relevant to the operation being performed.
Reasonable restrictions on unsupported, excessive or potentially harmful inputs.
Maintenance and updates to website components where reasonably available.
Access restrictions for administrative areas and operational systems.
Review of abnormal behavior, errors or security issues when detected or reported.
Security Limitations

No internet service can eliminate every risk

We take security seriously, but Tool Radar 360 does not promise that the website, every third-party service, every browser environment or every data transmission will always be completely free from vulnerabilities, outages, unauthorized activity or other security risks.

Users should maintain appropriate security on their own devices, browsers and networks and should avoid relying on Tool Radar 360 as the sole storage location for important information.

Retention

How long information may remain

Retention depends on the type of information and the feature involved. Browser-only data may remain on the user's device according to browser behavior, while contact messages, technical logs or information handled by third-party services can follow different retention periods.

We do not use one fixed retention period for every category because different operational, security, legal and technical purposes may require different treatment.

Where information is no longer reasonably needed for its applicable purpose, it may be deleted, anonymized or otherwise handled according to the relevant system and applicable requirements.

For privacy-related requests concerning personal information, please review our Privacy Policy or contact us.

Security FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does every Tool Radar 360 tool upload my data?

No blanket statement applies to every tool. Where a utility supports browser-side processing, relevant calculations or transformations can occur locally. Other features may require server-side or third-party processing.

Are all file tools processed inside my browser?

Not necessarily. Processing architecture can vary between tools. Where processing behavior is important to your decision to use a tool, review any tool-specific information provided with that utility.

Does Tool Radar 360 guarantee 100% security?

No. We aim to use reasonable security practices, but no website, browser environment or internet transmission can be represented as completely risk-free in every circumstance.

Should I upload confidential documents?

Consider the sensitivity of the information and the processing method before using an online file tool. Avoid submitting highly sensitive or irreplaceable information unless you understand and accept the processing involved.

Does Tool Radar 360 keep my uploaded files forever?

This page does not make a blanket permanent-storage claim because processing differs by feature. Browser-side files may never need to be transmitted for the core operation, while remote services can follow different processing and retention rules.

Can third-party services process information?

Yes, where Tool Radar 360 uses third-party services such as hosting, analytics, advertising, forms or other infrastructure, those services may process relevant information according to their role and configuration.

How can I report a security concern?

Use the Tool Radar 360 Contact page and provide enough information to identify the affected page, tool or behavior. Avoid including unnecessary sensitive personal information in the initial report.
